Purple Vision’s COMPLETES Review of 15 NCADV Proposal Workshop Session for 2020 NCADV Conference
A total of 15 proposals workshop proposal sessions, in preparation for the 2020 National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) Conference: Recognizing Y(Our) Power which will be held October 25-28, 2020 at the Marriott St. Louis Grand St. Louis, Missouri ( https://ncadv.org ) review process, were completed to Rekitta Peters, Founder/Owner, Purple Vision on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. There were a total of 24 people were apart of the 2020 NCADV Proposal Workshop Session Review Committee. As apart of the 2020 NCADV’s Proposal Workshop Session Review Committee, I was responsible for reviewing, commenting, and grading 15 proposals workshop session on various topics such as (1) anti-oppression and racial justice, (2) survivor focus, (3) resiliency & self care, (4) activism, social justice and community outreach, (5) other. Deadline to complete the proposal review process of the 15 assigned proposals given to Purple Vision Founder/Owner Rekitta Peters was Thursday, July 2, 2020.
I am very grateful, humbled, and honored to be apart of NVADV 2020 Proposal Workshop Session Review Committee because in doing so it fulfills Purple Vision’s mission statement and vision statement listed on my Purple Vision website http://purplevision.org to help, encourage, educate, and empower women who are victims and survivors of domestic violence to create a vision for a better life for themselves and their family and honor the memory of women who lost their life due to domestic violence.
