In October 2017, Rekitta Peters, Founder/Owner, Purple Vision became a member of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) organization. Here is some background information on NCADV. NCADV was formed on September 22, 1978 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. NCADV headquarter office is located in Denver, Colorado.

The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence envision a national culture in which we are all safe, empowered, and free from domestic violence.
THE NATIONAL COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE’S MISSION
NCADV mission is to lead, mobilize and raise our voices to support efforts that demand a change of conditions that lead to domestic violence such as patriarchy, privilege, racism, sexism, and classism. We are dedicated to supporting survivors and holding offenders accountable and supporting advocates.
As the Founder/Owner of Purple Vision, I am grateful, humbled and honored to be a member of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) organization because being a member of the NCADV organization fulfills the mission statement and vision statement of Purple Vision listed on my Purple Vision website http://purplevision.org to help encourage, educate, and empower women who are victims and survivors of domestic violence to create a vision for a better life for themselves and their family and honor the memory of women who lost their life due to domestic violence.
